The more flexible you can be
the better, being a courier is rarely a 9-5 job and this
can be an advantage. As most people work during the daytime, being available to collect or deliver early morning or in the evening, may prove beneficial. As the jobs posted here are not time critical, it may be possible to utilise any storage space you have at home, a secure garage for example. Collect goods throughout the week and then spend an evening or a weekend day delivering in your local area, just be sure to advise the shipper and receiver of your planned delivery time. |

When your out on the road it is not always an option to
pull over and take a look at your PDA or laptop to see
what secondary jobs are around, don’t hesitate to give
us a call and we will look for you, find the jobs the
best match your situation, and send you the details.
We encourage our shippers to also be as flexible as possible, if you see a job of interest but it does not look available for collect at the time, it may still be worth a call to see if the shipper can arrange for collection to be made. |

When you agree a job with a shipper, it is very
important that
you give
them your Driver
ID and
ask them to assign the job to you immediately. The
shipper will enter the agreed price and any other terms,
you will receive confirmation of the job including full
addresses and all the agreed terms, make sure you check
these before undertaking the job. The shipper has the option to print proof of collection and proof of delivery forms, be sure to ask them for these at the collection point. If the shipper does not have internet access at the time a job is agreed, ask them to give us a call and one of our team will assign the job to you. Job assignment is designed to protect both you and the shipper and is a vital link in the chain. |
